Estepona, September 22, 2024 – THE FLAG Costa del Sol welcomes Mónica Gimeno as its new General Manager. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she assumes leadership of the hotel located near Marbella, effective immediately. Gimeno brings extensive expertise in hotel management and strategic development, which will significantly enhance the operations of the property.
Her Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics will also enable her to further develop and expand the hotel’s wellbeing programs, with a particular focus on longevity. Her knowledge in this area will help enrich the hotel’s offerings with additional health-conscious and nutrition-focused components, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing vacation on the Costa del Sol while engaging in holistic wellness programs.
Prior to joining THE FLAG Costa del Sol, Mónica Gimeno held managerial positions at Iunion Hotels in Fuengirola and Mijas. She also gained valuable and broad experiences at Barceló Hotels and Hotel Guadalmina in Marbella.
THE FLAG Costa del Sol opened in March 2023, and its management structure was updated in June 2024.
