After the family business THE FLAG had purchased a property of about 2,260 m² in Massagno, Lugano, Switzerland, the Swiss authorities have now granted building rights for the planned construction project. The seller was a family from Ticino. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

A residential building for senior citizens is to be built there as well as on a neighbouring plot of land. A total of 56 barrier-free senior flats with many communal areas and 31 parking spaces have now been approved for the new location.

"Senior Living Lugano will have excellent connections," says Dr. Eike Muhr, managing director of THE FLAG. "It's only 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop, and after a short walk our guests can reach Lake Lugano."
