THE FLAG
acquires in New York City

Student living in Manhattan

In the future, the family-owned company THE FLAG will also offer apartments in New York. The company acquired a seven-storey building complex in Manhattan for this purpose.

"Our new building in the heart of Greenwich Village is only a few minutes' walk from New York University (NYU) and thus fits very well with our portfolio of student apartments," says Dr. Eike Muhr, Managing Director of THE FLAG.

The building at 103-105 MacDougal Street was extensively renovated before the purchase. All electrical systems were renewed, common areas and facades were renovated. The apartments now have fitted kitchens and new modern bathrooms. Comfort and Security are increased by the digital buildings- and apartment access as well as a virtual doorman.

THE FLAG New York City has 67 apartments, 54 one-bedroom apartments, 6 three-bedroom apartments, 5 four-bedroom apartments and one studio. The restaurant " Pappas Taverna" is located on the ground floor. The apartment building is situated on a plot of approximately 630 m² (6,750 ft²) and stretches in width from MacDougal Street over two blocks to Minetta Street. The fully let building has a lettable area of around 4,000 m² (42,368 ft²). The total investment was US $ 50 million.
